     歡迎大家來到青衣商會小學!
     我們學校自1984年成立至今已有27年歷史。廿多年來,學校一直秉承著百年樹人的使命,積極實踐「培育幼小,回饋社會」的辦學理念來實踐我們的教育夢。孩子是社會的希望,我們通過教育與他們一同成長,期望他們將來不論身處社會中那一個階層,怎樣的崗位,樂於貢獻所能,服務人群。
我們重視每一個孩子。「培育幼小」,是要讓他們有一愉快而充實的童年。關愛校園內,百多個來自不同國籍的孩子,在互相接納、包容與尊重下打成一片。他們在蹦跳中健康地成長,在師長及同儕的支援下掌握各樣的知識、技能和態度。兩文三語、資訊科技、共通能力…就在日常校園生活中自然地實踐。成長的步伐,也讓他們邁出腳步去迎接資訊年代對他們的挑戰。
        我們教導孩子用真心去愛。「回饋社會」,重視一顆真誠地服務他人的心。我們相信任何人都有他的價值,不在乎他的背景、身份或地位。即使只是輕輕地伸出友誼之手,又或只是一句體己的說話,足以為人間添上暖流。全方位輔導計劃引導孩子們從各樣的活動中獲得啟發:承擔,由熱愛生命,關愛家人開始,進而關心社會,心繫家國,放眼世界。每個人的才華,幼時從社會得到培育而成長,承恩長大後,貢獻所能,那麼生命將因他們的努力而綻放璀璨異彩!
        未來的世界,正走向全球一體化,當我們能接受「不同」,世界便會有更大的機會達致「大同」境界。於是,當不同國籍的孩子一同學習與遊戲,校園和諧共融的氣氛,足讓孩子從小接觸不同民族的異同中,學習尊重不同文化的特質,明白個人在學習及生活上的差異可以透過課程上的調適,不同的支援,人與人之間的包容與接納來逐步縮小,最後達至殊途同歸的果效。
        學校努力為這理想境界來營造我們獨特的校園。新的發展周期,我們聚焦於三個關注事項來發展: 
1. 優化多元化的校本課程,加強跨科課程聯繫
2. 加強照顧學生的學習差異,支援有特殊需要學生
3. 深化教師專業發展,提升學與教的成效
        這是一個將「課程」、「支援」與「教師」連結一起的發展。優秀的教師團隊、適切的校本課程,要照顧學生的個別差異和需要便事半而功倍。學校則能持續發展,成為學習型組織,與家長們攜手並肩,一同朝著「培育幼小,回饋社會」的辦學理想而努力。
 
     Welcome to Tsing Yi Trade Association Primary School!

     Our school was established in 1984. For 27 years, we advocate the mission of "Nurture the young, serve the community" as the motto of our educational dreams. We value children as hope for our society.  In education, we accompany the children, hoping for the day when they are ready to give a hand, wherever they are or whatever they are.

     We value each child. "Nurture the young," means giving them a happy and fulfilling childhood. In mutual acceptance, consideration and respect, children from different countries learn and play in harmony. With the support from peers and teachers, we assure their healthy growth with the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Bi-literate trilingual abilities, information technology, generic skills, etc, are developed naturally in campus life. Each footprint of their growth enables them to meet the challenges of this ever-changing society.
     Children are taught to love sincerely. "Serve the community" refers to whole-hearted service. We believe that everyone has a value, regardless of their backgrounds, identities or status.  Even though just a helping hand, or just a few words of consideration, is enough to add warmth in life.  Our guidance program inspires children from a variety of activities: A responsible person starts with the love of life, the love of family and then to care for the community, the nation, or our global world. Their potentials and talents are developed from their childhood with the support of others. They will then make a difference in life when they are willing to give a hand in the future.
     The world is moving toward globalization. When we can accept "diversities", the world will have a better chance to achieve "One World" status. Thus, when children of different countries come together, they learn how to respect and understand diversities. When they are exposed to different ethnic similarities and differences in a harmonious way, they will experience the miracle of narrowing down the diversities through curriculum adaptation, support and mutual acceptance.
     Our school strives for this ideal and creates our unique campus.  In the new development cycle, we focus on three major concerns as basics of school development:
1. Optimize the school-based curriculum development and
     connection
2. Enhance the support in catering for students with
  individual diversities and special educational needs
3. Deepen teachers' professional development to foster
    learning and teaching outcomes

     The framework is an integration of "Curriculum", "Support" and "Teachers".  They are all linked up in our school development plan.  With our outstanding teaching team and adaptive school-based curriculum, we can cater for students' diversities in an effective way.  Sustainability of our school will help us become a learning organization in which parents work with the school towards the mission of "nurture the young, serve the community", together.
